Family members of frontline workers, aged 18 and above, will get Covid-19 vaccines from now on, Health Minister Zahid Maleque said today.

“We have received permission from the prime minister in this regard,” he said while addressing an event arranged by the Private Medical College Association today.

“Already there is a decision to vaccinate doctors, nurses and other healthcare staffers working to tackle Covid-19,” he said.

“Members of the army, police and teachers are also regarded as frontline workers,” the minister added
