Number of India’s total Covid-19 cases has crossed the grim mark of three crore, of which one crore was recorded during last 50 days.

The current tally rose to 3,00,28,709 with 50,848 new infections reported in 24 hours till this morning, reports our New Delhi correspondent quoting the country’s health ministry data.

Meanwhile. the death toll climbed to 3,90,660 with 1,358 new fatalities, the data showed.

India’s total Covid-19 infections had gone past the one crore mark in December 2020 after which it took around 136 days to cross the two crore mark in May of 2021.
