The government today reduced the fee for testing Covid-19 after a meeting of the health ministry. Patients will have to pay Tk100 instead of Tk200 per test at hospital and Tk 300 per test will be taken if samples are given from home, which was previously Tk 500, according to the notice.

Earlier on June 29, the government issued a circular on Covid-19 sample tests at government facilities will no longer be free as the finance ministry has approved a health ministry proposal to impose fees on the tests.
